About our Wedding

We are so excited to announce that we were married on November 28th, 2020, at Vista House in Corvallis, Oregon, overlooking the beautiful Columbia River Gorge!

"Now wait a second, why didn't I know about this ahead of time?!" Ah, well we actually meant to give everyone a heads-up, with a "Don't Save the Date" card as a little joke, but we were thwarted by a very full schedule and some late-arriving photos which we needed for the cards.

"But why get married now and not wait until you could plan a 'proper' wedding?" In one word, Covid. We didn't know when things might return to normal such that travel and large gatherings would be safe again, we didn't want to endanger any of you, our loved ones, and we didn't want to be engaged for an undetermined amount of time, so we decided to have a small ceremony here in Oregon, then celebrate with all of you later, once it's safe.

"So what is the plan moving forward?" Once Covid is a thing of the past we will begin planning a reception, likely to be preceded by a renewal of our vows, and we will send out proper invitations to you. In the meantime, you can find our "registry" below, through HoneyFund, and decide if you want to send a gift.

We are so happy with how our little day turned out, and we spent a few relaxing days at a resort in Sunriver after the wedding, our "mini-moon", but not to worry, we've saved up plenty of excitement for the day we get to renew our vows and celebrate with you all!
